The Bellmont Braves faced a tough task Thursday in attempting to beat a good East Noble team on their home course. The task got even tougher when the Knights turned in a score of 154 on the Front Nine at Noble Hawk.
East Noble No. 1 Caden Anderson made two birdies and ended up a -1 with a 34 to lead the way for the Knights and win medalist honors.
Owen Minnick was up to the task of playing alongside Anderson. He birdied the fourth hole and finished with a +1 36.
The Braves play at Foster Park in a tournament Saturday in what looks to be rather cold conditions.
