The South Adams Starfires took advantage of four costly errors by Southern Wells and scored 17 runs on just eight hits, beating the Raiders 17-11.
While the errors cost the home team a couple of unearned runs, it was the whopping 17 walks issued by Southern Wells that gave them little chance of victory.
The Raiders used five different pitchers and each issued at least one free pass, handing the Starfires baserunners in every single inning.
Jax Wanner got the start for South Adams, then handed the ball to Kane Sturwold for the third inning. Manny Juarez earned the victory with 2.2 innings of relief work.
Derek McKean closed out the game in the seventh with two strikeouts.
Juarez, McKean and Owen Wanner each drew three walks in the game. McKean had the only extra-base hit for the Stars, a double.
Catcher Luke Bauman had two hits.
South Adams will play at Parkway Wednesday.
