Adams Central opened up the golf season this week with a match against a very tough Northfield squad and shot a decent score of 175, but still lost by 14 strokes to the Norsemen.
Drew Johnson was the top player for the Jets, shooting a solid 41.
In the JV match, the Jets got a 46 from Cam Smith.
With Wednesday’s match out of the way, the Jets will try to find time to practice during the rainy forecast before opening at home at Wabash Valley against Woodlan Monday.
