Duke Tumatoe with Horns will kick off Decatur’s annual Summer Concert Series on Thursday, June 6.
The Decatur Chamber of Commerce, which arranges the concerts, has posted the four concerts in June on its website. Other bands will be announced later.
Hubie Ashcraft will follow Tumatoe on June 13, then it will be E5C4P3, a Journey tribute band, on June 20, and The Broken Hearts, a Tom Petty tribute band, on June 27.
A total of 13 concerts will be on this year’s schedule, all on Thursday nights as the Fourth of July falls on Thursday this year.
The concerts are held on the Madison St. Plaza and no admission is charged.
Food and adult beverages are always available.
