The Adams County Economic Development Corporation (ACEDC) has announced that it is hiring a Tourism & Marketing Coordinator.
The hiring will launch a new initiative for the ACED as it looks at enhancing tourism within Adams County, ACEDC Executive Director Colton Bickel said.
“Adams County has many great assets that should/could drive visitors to our community,” Bickel said in a news release. “Unfortunately, Adams County is one of a handful of counties in Indiana that does not have a tourism bureau and I believe this should change.
“We look forward to bringing a new staff member onto the ACEDC team to begin this effort.”
It will be part-time position, 15 hours a week at $18 an hour, and will consist of working with Bickel and municipal leaders to create and enhance tourism in Adams County.
Details on the job and how to apply can be found at the ACEDC website: www.adamscountyedc.com
The ACEDC represents five municipalities: Adams County, Decatur, Monroe, Berne, and Geneva.
