The wife of a former Decatur man has been selected for induction into the Indiana Tech Hall of Fame.
Kendall Guthrie is one of four individuals and one team to be inducted at a ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 5, during Homecoming Week at the Fort Wayne university.

Guthrie is the wife of Zach Wetzel, a Decatur native and graduate of Bellmont High School. They currently reside, along with their son, Xander, in Oregon.
Wetzel is also a graduate of Tech and was a member of the golf team while there.
Kendall Guthrie played on the Indiana Tech women’s lacrosse team from 2011 to 2014. In her four years, she helped lead them to the NWLL National Tournament in four straight seasons and took them all the way to the finals in 2012.
Guthrie also helped the Warriors win back-to-back Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference regular season championships in the WHAC’s first two seasons with lacrosse as an affiliated sport, as well as the first WHAC Tournament championship in 2013.
In addition to numerous school records and conference honors, Guthrie was named first team All-American and Player of the Year in both 2013 and 2014,and was an Academic All-American in 2014.
