Bellmont’s Jack Scheumann continued his torrid scoring pace with a 20-point night Tuesday as the Braves bounced back against another SAC opponent, winning at Dwenger, 50-38.
After dropping Saturday afternoon’s game to Bishop Luers, the Braves traveled to the north side of Fort Wayne to face the Saints and led throughout the game, holding Dwenger to just five made field goals in the entire first half.
Scheumann actually had as many points himself in the first half (12) as the opponents had, with the Braves taking a 29-12 lead into the locker rooms.
Finishing 5 of 8 from the line, Scheumann ended the night with 20 points and led all scorers.
Gavin Krull knocked down a couple of threes and finished with ten points overall for the visitors, while Andrew James and Kord Fuelling each had seven.
