Expanded services will be available at Adams Health Network’s (AHN) new Medical Office Building on N. 13th St. in Decatur.
Adams Behavioral Health, StatCare and the Adams Community Pharmacy will be located in the former Mediacom/Bennett building.
AHN CEO Dr. Scott Smith said he is looking forward to providing expanded healthcare access for the community at the new location. “We strive to provide exceptional service that’s convenient and close to home,” Smith said in a news release.
An open house at the new facility will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held promptly at 4 with the Decatur Chamber of Commerce.
The Adams Team will be on hand during the open house to provide tours and answer specific department questions, the news release said.
Adams Behavioral Health will begin seeing patients at the new location on Monday, February 5, while StatCare and the Adams Community Pharmacy will follow later in the month.
StatCare, the hospital’s urgent care clinic, will also offer on-site radiology services at the new location.
Sheba Davidson, RN, CEN, and manager of Acute Care Services at Adams Memorial Hospital, noted that as of January 1, StatCare’s hours expanded to 8 a.m.-8 p.m. during the week and on the weekends, and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on holidays.
Behavioral Health’s outpatient counseling hours will remain the same, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
The new Adams Community Pharmacy will feature a drive-thru window.
A high-resolution digital sign is in the process of being placed in front of the Medical Office Building; it will feature hospital announcements, services, and events.
