A traditional match pitting Adams Central and South Adams against Fort Wayne’s North Side and South Side turned into just a pair of matches after South Side did not participate and North Side sent just four players, but the morning ended with a win for the Flying Jets.
Logan Heiman moved up to No. 1 Singles and won 6-2, 6-1, while Krew Clark came back from a loss in the first set to take his match 5-7, 6-4, 10-6.
North Side scored a win at No. 1 Doubles, defeating the team of Sam Johnson and Daymon Frocke, 6-2, 6-4.
South Adams also competed against North Side. No scores from that match were reported.
