Heritage played for the fourth time in four days Saturday when they took on the Snider Panthers across nine holes at Whispering Creek, falling to the host Panthers by 15 strokes.
While the Saturday morning match went into the loss column for coach Amanda Minchski’s team, the round did represent the team’s best nine-hole score in the opening flurry of events from the season’s opening week.

Natalie Otte, the Patriots’ No. 1, shot her best round of the year, adding a par on the par-five seventh hole, while Aubree Rebeck used a par on the second hole to record her best round of the week by five strokes for a 52.
Olivia Minnich went from a pair of 61s at Wabash Valley earlier in the week to a round with two pars and a birdie on the eighth hole to finish with a very impressive 54.

The Patriots host South Adams, Woodlan and Jay County Monday night at home at McMillen.
