This scholarship, endowed in a fund at the Adams County Community Foundation is in memory of Eleanor Morris and her husband, William.

Eleanor was a superb musician and held many impressive positions, but as many people many people may know, she was the first executive director of the Adams County Community Foundation.
Bill spent time in the Army, graduated from Ball State and was a retired educator, initially teaching history and coaching basketball. Bill became Geneva High School’s principal at the age of 27 and was one of the youngest principals ever in Indiana.
Baker will be attending IUPUC (Columbus, IN) to major in nursing.

For 2024 graduating high school seniors wishing to apply for the Lilly scholarship through the ACCF, this due date will be Wednesday, September 13, 2023 by 4:00 p.m. For current college students, the next due date is Wed., November 1, 2023 (students can apply only once during a calendar year).
