Up to #6 in the state in the latest 2A computer rankings, the Adams Central Jets picked up their eleventh win of the season Wednesday in straight sets, beating the Blackford Bruins, 25-23, 25-14, 25-19.
Daisy Hindenlang led the Jets with nine kills and Jentrie Schaefer was in on six blocks in the victory.
Emma Hirschy had three aces and led the team with nine digs. She was excellent in her serve receiving game to set up the offense.
Luci Noblitt and Slone Schortgen had eighteen and ten assists, respectively, in their shared setting responsibilities.
The Bruins’ loss dropped them to 4-6. The Jets will host Bishop Luers on Thursday night on 92.7 FM, WZBD.
