Brooklynn Nash fired the Mississinewa Indians into the 3A regional Thursday night, capturing the sectional trophy for her team with a two-hit complete game and a 3-for-5 night at the plate as the hosts beat the Bellmont Braves, 11-1 in six innings.

Bellmont actually led first in the content after Adi Radecki got Mississinewa out 1-2-3 in the top of the first (the Braves were the home team on the scoreboard). Isabelle Mickley walked and Liz Bobay doubled her in for the early advantage.

Mississinewa took the lead, though, in the top of the third with a big inning. Five straight hits culminated in a home run for Charleigh Baledge to make it 5-1. That was enough to knock Radecki out of the game and head coach Mindy Buuck went with Isabelle Buuck the rest of the way. The Indians hit her much the same, adding six more runs over the next three innings from eleven hits.

The only baserunner for Bellmont after the first inning was a one-out double by Oni Krueckeberg in the third. Nash set down the rest of the Braves to finish off the championship.
