A tight, scoreless game between the Carroll Chargers and the Bellmont Braves after four innings turned into a 4-0 win for the visitors as they hit two late home runs and Charger starter Taylor Danley struck out 13.
Danley limited the home team to just three hits – all of them singles to the middle of the order – and walked none in a 101-pitch complete game.

Freshman hurler Adi Radecki was up to the task early of matching Danley for the Braves. She held the Chargers to just three hits in the first four innings.
The scoreless contest was broken open in the fifth with a solo home run by Taylor Patterson to left. Radecki got the next two batters out on just three pitches.

Danley came back out firing, striking out two in the next half inning before delivering a big blow with a two-out RBI single to left to make it 2-0. Danley later scored on a double.

The Braves went 1-2-3 in the bottom of the sixth and Alexis Pee added a home run to center for the visitors.

Danley struck out the final two batters to finish off the Braves.
Bellmont will play three games in their annual Kokomo tournament this coming weekend.
