The DeKalb Barons scored three goals from corner kicks and took out the Bellmont Braves 5-0 in NE8 play Monday in boys soccer.
The Barons took a 3-0 lead into halftime and added two more in the second half.
Ryker Ball had a brace and it was a goal apiece for Ollie Byler, Grady Hall and Dylan Poe.
Matthias Kohli kept the Braves off the score sheet on the team’s senior night.
The Braves finished in seventh place in the eight-team conference, with the Barons taking third place with the win and a 5-2 NE8 record.
Ball finished second in the NE8 with 11 conference goals.
Playing their final home games for the Braves were Romeo Antunes, Carsten Hudson, Dieder Scheumann, Harry Gintrand, Jacob Rudy, Gavin Braun and Taahir Ally.
