With one week to go before the IHSAA announces the postseason draw, local teams were set to focus this week on wrapping up regular season matches in their conferences, but Z-Land teams had non-conference matches on the Monday schedule.

The Jets pushed their season record to 18-6 in a nice recovery match after losing two of three at the ACAC tourney Saturday. They’ll go to Berne Thursday.

The Braves were swept in straight sets for the fourth time in the last five matches by the visitors from Ohio.
Taylor Sutter led the Braves with ten kills in the loss, while Kaylee Kolter had six.
Averie Coats led the team with 19 digs.
The Braves are back on the radio Tuesday night at Norwell as they try to recover from last week’s NE8 loss to Leo. They’ll host the 3A sectional in two weeks.
