Another amazing season for the DeKalb Barons will finish at the State Finals after the team won Friday’s golf regional by seven strokes over Northridge.

Shooting 320, the Barons were led by Paige Williams and Grace Pfister, who both shot 78.
The story of the day, though, was Wawasee’s Finley Baker. She was -2 on the front and -4 on the back, taking medalist honors by seven strokes. Baker made four birdies on the front and four more on the back.

Londyn Smith led the Adams County contingent with an 83. That put her seven strokes away from reaching the State Finals as an individual. The Starfire #1 played much better on the back, where she shot 40, including a birdie on No. 11.

Tenley Hendricks played well for the Adams Central Jets, finishing with a 43-50.
Morgan Huss was consistent throughout the day as the lone Bellmont Brave, finishing her career with a solid 93.
