South Adams was in full control Monday in high school tennis, but the difference between a 5-0 win and a 3-2 victory was a pair of third sets – at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles.
The Starfires won both, with Isaiah Conrad and Eli Habegger going all the way to the tiebreaker, to ensure the bus ride home was a (5-0 type) happy one.
The win also pushed the Starfire tennis record to a robust 11-2 mark with just one week left in the regular season.
