Kendall Minger played a career-best round Thursday night on the Front Nine at Wabash Valley, matching South Adams ace Londyn Smith with a 46 as the Starfires beat Southern Wells by 23 strokes.
Minger dropped her mark on the Front from a 48 to a 46 with a round that included three pars, allowing her to share medalist honors with Smith, who also had three pars.
South Adams also got season-best rounds on the front by Sophia Orr, Audrey Orr and Margo Bernard (shown below).
The Raiders were led by Sophie Meeks’ 49.
Both teams will be back in action in Saturday’s ACAC tournament at Cross Creek.
