Decatur’s 15th annual Sculpture Tour is scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
No admission is charged.
Artists from eight states – Missouri, Washington, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Louisiana, Colorado and Indiana – will have works on display.
Three of the artists are from Decatur: Shelby Nower and brothers Greg and Alex Mendez.
Plein Air artists will be doing their thing in a competition to be held throughout the downtown area starting around 8 a.m.
The unveiling of the sculptures will begin at 3 p.m. on the northeast corner of the courthouse square.
The walking tour of the sculptures will follow.
The new additions will remain on display until April of next year.
Activities will continue via a tie-in with the annual Connor Brite’s Wildflowers benefit starting at 6 on the Madison St. Plaza.
Plenty of music and food trucks will be available. Again, no admission will be charged.
