Johnny Wayne Williams, 65, of Geneva, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 4:44 PM.
Born on Thursday, October 27, 1960, in Galveston, Texas, Johnny married Skeeter Galloway Williams on November 29, 2014, in Geneva, Indiana.
Johnny worked as a truck driver for Venture in Hartford City, Indiana. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. A dedicated sports fan, he proudly supported the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. He also served as a counselor at Cenikor in Baton Rouge, LA for ten years. Above all, Johnny cherished spending time with his family — especially taking his grandchildren for rides on the golf cart.
Survivors include his wife, Skeeter Galloway Williams of Geneva, IN Sons; Shilo Silas Shepherd of Berne, IN, Johnny Williams of Berne, IN. Daughters; Clarece Shepherd of Geneva, IN, Robyn (Jordan) Steele of Decatur, IN, Alina Fern Shepherd of Geneva, IN. Sisters; Cindy (Ronnie) Kettle of Decatur, TX, Vickie (Al) Garza of Baytown, TX, Nancy (Tim) Butler of Warrenton, MO.and Seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Corinne Moore, Father, David Moore, Daughter, Thera Jade Raugh, and Grandson Dallas Raugh.
Family and friends may gather to share memories at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington Street, Geneva, Indiana, on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
A Celebration of Life service will follow at 6:00 PM at the funeral home, with Pastor Clint Abney officiating.
