Jada Dale won the 200 and 400 M races at Thursday’s triple meet against Bellmont and South Adams with times that were faster than her sectional-winning times last year, showing just how elite of a sprinter she is in Northeast Indiana.
It was a razor-thin margin in the 100, where Ireland Shuck (SA) ran her career best but was clocked at .01 second behind Kaylee Eicher of Norwell.
Meanwhile, Quinn Buchan had an outstanding night in her final races on the home track with career-best times in the 200 and 400.
The meet also featured a new career mark for Kapri Bixler in the 100 hurdles. She won the event in 15 flat, a time that would have won sectional in two of the three seasons so far in Bixler’s career.

In the boys’ meet, Lincoln Resendez won both the 100 M Hurdles and the high jump with career-best marks.
Landon Sielschott, who had just set his new career mark in the pole vault at 10 feet at New Haven, went 10-06 for another PR.
Bellmont also got an outstanding mark from Chris Richmond, who won the discus. His old PR of 115-04, set against the same Starfires earlier this season, was shattered by his throw of 129-09 Thursday.
