All five varsity players for the Bellmont Braves carded scores in the 30s as the team navigated a cold night on the Back Nine at Cross Creek for an outstanding 153 to beat rival Bluffton by six strokes and Jay County in a three-way meet Wednesday.
Rafe Gerber of Bluffton had medalist honors with a night of two birdies for an even-par 36. Chase Baker was just behind him at 37, making birdies on the par-five 12th and 15th holes.

The Braves also had birdies from Sam Shifferly on No. 14 and Kade Cutler on No. 15.
Sophomore Jacob Binegar carded a four for a birdie on the 18th hole to keep the whole team in the 30s.
The victory pushed the Bellmont season record to 7-2 overall. It was the first loss of the season for the Tigers.
