Free breast screenings are available at Adams Memorial Hospital for certain eligible women, the hospital has announced.
Funding is once again available through the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust (IBCAT) grant.
The grant allows the hospital to offer free screenings and diagnostic mammograms, breast MRI exams, breast ultrasounds, and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, the announcement said.
Additionally, all imaging will be read by a board-certified physician from Summit Radiology Group in Fort Wayne.
The services are available to area women who meet specific financial eligibility criteria.
“If you believe you may qualify, you can apply by calling the AMH Central Scheduling Department: (260) 724-2145, ext. 11047,” the hospital said.
The IBCAT grant is funded through the sale of Indiana’s Breast Cancer Awareness license plates, available online or at any Indiana BMV location.
