The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of northbound U.S. 27 near Monroe.
Starting on or after April 20, crews will be replacing a pipe on northbound U.S. 27 between State Road 124 and C.R. 100 S. Work on the project is expected to last for one week. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, northbound drivers should use the official detour of State Road 218, State Road 1 and S.R. 124, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
