Sandra L. “Sandy” (Cramer) Boring, 87, of Decatur, passed away Saturday afternoon, on April 11, 2026. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, on February 17, 1939, the daughter of the late George and Cecilia (Stark) Cramer.
She was self-employed beautician and had worked salons in Muncie, IN, and Van Wert, OH. Sondra loved to bake and cook and enjoyed sewing & doing crafts.
Sandy is survived by her 4 sons, Mike D. Parrish of Decatur, IN, Mark D. Parrish of Rockford, OH, John F. (Tina) Parrish of Decatur, IN, Jim L. (Brenda) Parrish of Decatur, IN; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Julian “Mike” Cramer and a grandson, David D. Parrish.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home, with a visitation prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Chaplain Charlene Rorick will be officiating and burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
