The Adams Central softball team ran into a buzzsaw of a team with Eastside Thursday night, as they scored at least 2 runs an inning, cruising to an 18-4 win over the Jets.
AC would only get 5 hits in the game, led by Ali Hamilton’s 2-run double in the 4th inning. Adeline Isch, Andrea Isch, Baylee Smith, and Janaya Johnson each had a single. Smith drove in a run in the first, and Londin Nussbaum hit a sac fly in the 4th to round out the scoring.
Addelyne Jordan would take the loss in the circle going the 5 innings, striking out 3 Blazers.
Adams Central is now 0-2 on the season, and will travel up to Bellmont Monday night for a Varsity and JV doubleheader starting at 5, and you can catch the game on WZBD.
