Spring brings road construction, Commissioners learn Tuesday

Spring is on the way, and so is a large amount of road construction in Adams County. The Adams County Commissioners learned Tuesday of four major road construction projects being planned for this year by the Indiana Department of Transportation. INDOT will begin the construction projects by the end of March, and the work will likely continue through early fall

Meanwhile, Sheriff Dan Mawhorr got the approval from the Commissioners to install a new boiler for the county jail at a cost of just under $160,000. They also approved plans for repairs to the front roof of the jail at a cost of just over $19,000
