The Adams County Council on Aging has a new Associate Director and a big fundraiser coming up this weekend. Leah Koob was introduced to the County Commissioners on Tuesday, and she spoke with WZBD’s Ed Thurman about her new position and the fundraising event, “A Night in Tuscany,” coming up on Saturday night…
Council on Aging officials hope to raise enough money to build the garden facility yet this year.
Meanwhile, the Commissioners were also reminded that the sale of license plates for Amish buggies begins next Monday. The cost of buggy plates is $185 each, and they can be purchased at the county highway garage through May 15.
