The Angola Hornets came into the Teepee Wednesday night and slashed the Bellmont defense for 29 made field goals across 32 minutes on their way to a 70-45 victory.
Turnovers for the Braves, combined with easy finishes for the visitors after breakdowns in the Bellmont defense gave the Hornets a marked advantage. They scored 22 points in the first quarter alone to jump out to a big lead. The advantage was ten points by halftime and 15 at the end of the third.










Niles Knox led all scorers with 19 for Angola. He knocked down nine shots in the first three quarters.
Angola had just three threes in the game, with most of the points scored in the paint. They were 9 of 13 from the line.

Bellmont got 13 points from both Daniel Selking and Cameron Summers. The Braves also knocked down three from behind the arc.
It was the seventh loss in a row for the Braves, who now must turn around and make the long road trip to DeKalb on Friday night. It will be the team’s last chance to win a conference game this season.
