Damon Light surpassed the 300-point mark and upped his own school record Monday night against Snider and Norwell at the Helen P. Brown Natatorium in Fort Wayne.
Light, who has broken his own record about a dozen times in the last two seasons, nailed his toughest dive, a forward 2.5-somersault pike for scores of 8.5-7.5-8 from the judges.
Light will be one of the favorites at next week’s sectional meet.
While the Jets fell just short of winning on the team side, they still had several other individual bests.
MacGregor Parker swam a season best in the IM for the Jets.
