**The following is a press release sent out by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office…
On December 31, 2025, at approximately 10:51 pm, the Adams County dispatch center received a call reporting a party with underage drinking located in rural Adams County in the area of 300 W on CR 500N. At approximately 11:22 pm, a Sheriff Deputy and a Decatur City police officer arrived on scene. They observed a large number of vehicles parked parallel to the driveway with people going into a barn located behind the house. The investigation concluded that the following persons were going to be cited for Minor Consumption. A report was filed with the Adams County Prosecutor’s office and the follow people will be cited into Adams Superior Court on February 17, 2026, at 9am for initial hearings.

- Chandler A Thomas- Decatur, IN

- Alyssa J. Coffey- Decatur, IN
- Noah R. Dyer- Decatur, IN
- Taylor R Bauer- Decatur, IN
- Ellie J. Schirack- Decatur, IN
- William K. Baker- Decatur, IN
- Shaylin N. McCray- Monroeville, IN
- Gavin W. Krull- Decatur, IN
- William D Kintz- Decatur, IN
All persons under the age of 18 were investigated by the Decatur Police department with a report being filed to the Adams County Probation Department for possible charges.
