The Bellmont Braves came away with a sweep of South Adams with the help of superior depth and outstanding performances from Owen Garcia on the boys’ side and Izabella Werling on the girls’.
After getting the Bellmont girls started with a new season best in the medley relay, Werling then registered her career best in the IM to claim first place. The sophomore also won the butterfly.
The Bellmont teams will compete Saturday at the NE8 meet.
