Blackhawk Christian kept a steady pace to take an 18-13 halftime score and turn it into a big win Tuesday night on their home court, knocking off the Heritage Patriots, 44-36, in varsity girls basketball action.
The Patriots struggled to find good looks in the game, but matched the Braves in made field goals thanks to five threes. 3 of 8 free throw shooting hurt the visitors down the stretch.

Elaine Bickel led the Patriots in scoring with nine, while Kierstyn Hess had eight. Elise Hissong had seven in the loss.
The Patriots will host Woodlan Saturday night in their final game of 2025.
