It was a straight-forward victory for the Bellmont Braves Monday night in the annual rivalry game against the Adams Central Jets, with the home team taking care of business to the tune of a final score of 25-10, 25-14, 25-10.
The Braves, who have sacrificed their season record by playing some of the top 4A teams in the state, moved to 8-9 with the win. The only team outside of 4A to beat the Braves has been Concordia Lutheran back in August.

The most impressive performance of the night came from Bellmont junior Taylor Sutter, who had a game-high and season-high eight service aces to lead the Bellmont attack. She also had nine digs.
MaryKate Scheumann led the Braves with 15 kills on just 23 attempts. She also showed off her skills at the service line with a pair of aces.

Katie Reinhart had five kills for Bellmont to go with four digs.

Lilly Selking led the home team with 17 assists, while Grace Riggs led the team with ten digs.
