Having just played against each other at Cross Creek Saturday in the ACAC tourney, the South Adams Starfires and Adams Central Jets used a different format for competition Monday, squaring off in a match-play format.
The two teams played to a 2-2 draw, then settled the match with a chip-off, giving each team an opportunity to get a refreshing change of pace and play ahead of next week’s sectional.
