The Decatur Chamber’s 2025 Summer Concert Series closes down Thursday in a big way, with two annual events.
The 24th annual Motorsports Festival will kick off the evening at 4 p.m. and the 8th annual appearance of The Bulldogs will gace the Madison St. Plaza stage at 7 p.m.

The Fort Wayne-based Bulldogs have never missed a summer concert series in Decatur. They performed as part of the first one in 2018 and have made at least one appearance every year since.

They will play from 7-9 p.m., bringing the music of the 1956-1969 era ā Chuck Berry, Little Richard, the Beatles, Buddy Holly, Bill Haley, Wilson Pickett, the Righteous Brothers, the Monkees, the Moody Blues, Roy Orbison and many more.

The band has performed throughout northern Indiana, Ohio and Michigan for some 30 years. They’ve even been the featured performers on 17 cruises throughout the Caribbean and Mexican Riviera.
No admission is charged for the concerts ā this will be the 13th of 2025’s Chamber series ā and food vendors will be available, along with adult beverages from The Oasis Pub.

CLASSIC TIME: The Motorsports Festival will be held ā rain or shine ā from 4-9 p.m., with classic vehicles parked on Second St. and other areas downtown.

Street rods, show cars, antique cars, race cars and motorcycles will be on hand.
Registration will be from 4-6, $12 fee. Pre-registration will be $10.
Last year’s event drew a little over 150 vehicles.
