Brooklyn Green shot a season-best 18-hole round at Hickory Hills to help the South Adams Starfires take seventh place Saturday.
The team shot 418 and Green played consistently all day long for a great 49-47 round. Her eagle on the 12th hole helped the Stars to their best team score ever at that tournament.
Kendall Minger’s round of 103 was also ten shots better than her previous 18-hole best of 113 on her home course.
