After drawing rival South Adams in Monday night’s ACAC draw, the Adams Central Jets sat around Tuesday waiting to play, then again on Wednesday, only to be canceled again.
They finally got the chance to play on dry courts Thursday afternoon and took full advantage of it, sweeping the singles matches in straight sets and grabbing the top doubles match with a win in a second-set tiebreaker.

The Jets will now face Bluffton on Friday in the semis, while Bellmont and Norwell will battle on the other side of the Norwell tennis complex.
The winners of Friday’s semifinals will meet in a Saturday morning sectional final.

The Jets top singles player (Melanie Bertsch) and top doubles team (Alexa Brotherton and Macy McClure) will have a chance to stay alive if they win their individual matches Friday, even with a team loss.
