The Bellmont Braves used Thursday night’s rescheduled track meet with Norwell and Adams Central to celebrate the members of the Class of 2025, altering their typical lineup to get as many seniors in as many events as possible.
Norwell dominated the meet, with the home Braves only winning in the 4×100 relay and the long jump.
Adams Central won the other two relays and Braylen Cowans took the discus for the Jets.
Notes & Times:
-Bellmont’s Nehemiah Richmond ran the 100 Thursday night and ran a 12 flat, one of the better times for the Braves this year. Richmond also ran the 800 and finished with a top three time for the team in 2025.
-The Braves also put Xavior Palacios in at the 200 and he turned in one of the top times this year, running a 25.2 for Bellmont.
-Harry Gunsett ran a career-best time in the 800, but lost out on first place by .2 seconds to Norwell’s Caiden Petrie.
