Leo maneuvered around a wet Cross Creek Back Nine and shot an outstanding 149 to easily tame the Bellmont Braves Wednesday night by 19 strokes.
The Lions finished the night just +5 as a team on the Back Nine, a rare score for a high school team at CCGC.

The Braves were, like the baseball team Wednesday, without a starter because of the volleyball sectional. Cam Summers was leading the volleyballers to victory over Wayne and was replaced in the varsity lineup by freshman Kade Cutler.

Jacob Binegar had one of the highlights of the night for the Braves with his birdie on the Par 3 No. 13. The freshman finished with a 37.
