Lucy Buuck homered and scored twice in Monday’s 6-5 Heritage win over Garrett in a matchup of two former conference foes.
Buuck tied the game at 1-1 in the top of the second, lining the ball over the left field fence. She singled and scored later in the game to finish 2-for-4 on the night.
Danica Fuller pitched all seven innings, striking out seven. The senior also had two hits and knocked in two runs.
Abriyah James continued her fine season with two more hits, raising her batting average to .589.
Heritage will play Bluffton at home Tuesday night.
