Danica Fuller threw five no-hit innings and scored four runs as the Heritage Patriots dominated Adams Central in a 16-1 ACAC victory Thursday.
The Patriots scored six times in the top of the first inning, batting around as Fuller scored after her first at-bat, then lined out to end the inning.

The Jets did plate a run in the second after a two-base error in the outfield and a stolen base. Izzy Isch scored on a sacrifice fly by Brinlee Rinkenberger for the Jets’ only run on the night.
After that, it was all Heritage.

Libby Cain finished a perfect 4-for-4, knocking in six runs with two doubles and two singles.
The Patriots avoided taking the extra base where they could when the game got out of hand. They finished the night with ten singles. Abriyah James and Calleigh Hirschy each had two hits for the winning side.

Heritage will play a doubleheader against Norwell Saturday. That will prepare them for a week where they can move within a game of a conference crown if they can take care of Bluffton (6-12) and Jay County (12-2), setting up a showdown with Woodlan on May 20th.
