A small group of visitors from the National Site Selectors will be in Decatur on Thursday to look over and become more familiar with the city and Adams County.
Adams County Economic Development Corporation (ACEDC) Executive Director Colton Bickel, who will serve as host, said the stop here is part of a larger visit to Northeast Indiana.
“The ACEDC did work with Fleetwood (in Decatur) to provide an RV for the visitors to travel across the region, which is just an added way to showcase Adams County,” Bickel said. “We are very thankful for Fleetwood and their partnership for this visit.”

Weather permitting, the ACEDC will host the group for lunch on the Madison St. Plaza.
“The overall goal is to make sure they are familiar with Adams County and it’s municipalities,” Bickel noted.
City councilman Matt Dyer will be joining the group, sitting in for Mayor Dan Rickord, who will be out of town attending a mayors’ conference.
