
South Adams hosted nine varsity teams, Bellmont’s JV and an incomplete Marion team in a 12-team tournament Saturday at Wabash Valley in high school golf.
The Bluffton Tigers won the team event by four strokes over Fremont, with Norwell and Northeastern a ways back in a tie for third.
Fremont and Bluffton had three players combined at the medalist mark of 80. The actual award went on tiebreaker to the Eagles’ Jake Hilvers.
Adams Central’s Drew Johnson cracked the Top Ten with a seventh-place score of 83 to lead Adams County golfers.
