A 3-for-3 night for starting pitcher Ethan Funk at the plate Thursday led to the second victory of the week in as many tries for the Adams Central Flying Jets as they took out Canterbury, 14-2.
Funk kept several AC rallies going with his perfect night with the bat, knocking three singles and picking up a walk.

Below him in the batting order, Jacob Miler and Reece Hammond delivered the big blows to the Cavaliers, knocking in half the team’s runs between the two of them.

Funk held the opponents to just three hits in his four innings of work, although he did issue seven walks to complicate his night. He was awarded the victory in the five-inning game.
Carson Ross threw one inning of relief, striking out the side to end the contest in the top of the fifth inning.

Joey Everett had three runs scored at the top of the order for the Jets.
