Danica Fuller fired a two-hit complete game shutout to push the Heritage Patriots’ season record to 7-0, beating Wayne Trace in Ohio, 6-0.
Fuller struck out 13 of the 23 batters she faced and allowed just two singles to the bottom half of the Wayne Trace lineup. She threw 63 of 81 pitches for strikes.

At the plate, Fuller reached base twice – once with a walk and again when she was plunked by the Raiders’ starter.
Coach Minchski’s team needed just four hits to score their runs as the Raiders committed three costly errors.
Abriyah James led the batting attack, raising her team-high batting average to .667 this season with a pair of doubles and two walks. She scored three runs.

Avi Washington also had a double for the Patriots, who now travel to Snider for a game Tuesday.
The Patriots face a gauntlet of contests next week that will test their unbeaten record, beginning with a home game against Carroll Monday before playing in WZBD’s featured game Wednesday against Bellmont. They will then face the team that eliminated them from last year’s sectional – the Leo Lions – Thursday on the road.
