
Well, it’s official…the cost of license plates on horse drawn vehicles in Adams County will be going up this year and will then increase each year for the next 10 years. The move is meant to help pay for fixing and maintaining roads in Adams County that are used heavily by buggies and other horse drawn vehicles.
County Commissioners President Steve Bailey told WZBD’s Ed Thurman that the need is there in much of the county, but that there will be an exception that has now been approved by the commissioners.
The increased rates are immediate in Adams County, and the so-called “pony carts” will be the only exception.
