Ava Kinsey won two events and contributed to two more relay wins to lead the Starfish to an easy victory over visiting Bellmont Monday night in the South Adams pool.
Notes & Times:
-Kinsey’s winning time in the 100 Free was just a fraction short of her season best as she remained the only Adams County female swimmer to break the one-minute mark so far this season.
-Freshman Tori McCullough swam a season best in the 500 to take third in 6:37.18.
-Bellmont’s Morgan Brames was third in the breaststroke with her best time of the year.
-The Braves took second in the 400 Free Relay, but they easily set a new season best in the event, with McCullough, Ella Hockemeyer, Shaylin McCray and Madison Witte teaming up to finish in 4:26.39, five seconds better than the team’s previous best time this year against Snider.
