It may have been a loss in the team score, but the South Adams Starfires made somewhat of a statement Thursday night against the top team in 2A, the Delta Eagles, by winning five of the eleven bouts wrestled, but ultimately falling, 51-25.
Trying to make up for three forfeits in the lineup against one of the top teams in the state, the Starfires were on the front foot and ready to test the Eagles on their feet.
The Stars will look to regroup and have a solid week of practice before the ACAC Duals next Saturday.
